Our blog has moved!
Over the past two weeks, the kittens have slowly been taking over our home:
(and they LOVE to lay on the alligator. So cute!)
They also enjoy climbing around the bathroom (that is Yoda sitting in the sink!)
Or, they will spend their time snuggling on our dining chairs.
Have a great Wednesday!
If you follow us on Twitter or Facebook, you may have noticed that we have started posting quotes about pets. We love reading what celebrities, authors and others have to say about pets! Pets bring so much joy and happiness to our lives, so it makes sense that quotes about pets are often heartwarming and sweet.
“A house is not a home without a pet.”
“Dogs are the leaders of the planet. If you see two life forms, one of them’s making a poop, the other one’s carrying it for him, who would you assume is in charge?”
~ Jerry Seinfeld
”Thousands of years ago, cats were worshiped as gods. Cats have never forgotten this.”
“Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.”
~ Roger Caras
What is your favorite quote about pets?
Because personalization and engraving is free with every A Pet’s Life purchase, we get to see the unique and interesting names that owners choose for their pets! Although many owners seem to choose ‘traditional’ names for their pets, others choose more creative, interesting names 🙂
We decided it would be fun to look at the trendy and interesting names of 2012!
Lola, Stella, Luna, Nala, Izzy
Bentley, Diesel, Tank, Marley, Milo
Lola, Stella, Izzy, Zoey, Lulu
Dexter, Cooper, Louie, Loki, Henry
We thought some of these names are ridiculous! Check out our favorites:
Chew Barka, Stinker Belle, Spunky Brewster
Dandy Lion, Nacho Cheese, Monster Truck Mickey
Pico de Gato, Kitty Gaga, Vincent Van Furrball
Magnificat, Madame Meow, Mister Peepers, Pawly D
Welcome to the first 2013 installment of Kitten Wednesday 🙂
I don’t think my husband and I knew how much we loved pets until we met our three little guys. They have brought so much love and happiness into our lives. They make us laugh with just about everything they do!
Even while eating, they make us laugh. I took a few photos over the weekend to show how adorable they look:
I don’t know what it is, but they look so funny facing opposite directions.
At first they ate out of the same bowl, but we soon realized that was not going to work for long. Someone (Yoda) was eating much more than the other two and in a way “bullied” the other two away from the bowl. So now they each have their own bowl and that seems to have solved the issue.
They currently use the ceramic bowls featured on A Pet’s Life®. Although they bowls seem a bit big for kittens, we know Yoda, Buddy and Sheldon will grow into them just fine.
Previous Kittens Wednesday Posts:
A few days ago, I came across an article on the Today Show’s blog. Viewers had sent in photographs of their cats in Christmas trees. I had to laugh because when our kittens first starting exploring our home, they went crazy for our Christmas tree! I wish I had gotten a better picture, but here is Yoda hanging out in the tree:
We ultimately had to put the tree upstairs in a room that they cats didn’t have access to. But it sure was funny to see all three of them hanging from branches 🙂

We have decided on some names for our little angels. Read HERE to learn more about how they came into our lives.
We originally thought about naming them a “group” name, like Larry, Curly and Moe, but we decided to pick names that actually suit their personalities. And, my husband loves Star Wars, so I knew I could not argue with the name Yoda 🙂
